The Shark and Swill

As close as a building can get without being considered as a dockside establishment, The Shark and Swill is possibly one of the lowest places in Tamran. With its closest neighbours being a massive stack of disused barrels and an abandoned blacksmith’s workshop, the Shark and Swill is well frequented by some of the more undesirables in the city. Owned and operated by a old former pirate named Finn “Red Locks” Clegg, formerly known amongst the sea-folk as The Hate of Gunshot Estuary, the two story inn is one of the oldest in the city. Amazingly, and one that Clegg prides himself in, is that the inn has never been damaged in all of the attacks against Tamran.

The tavern attached to the inn serves mostly watered down ale, dubious food and the bar staff are considered some of the best thieves in the business, yet those of the underworld still flock through its doors every evening. It is believed that more transactions occur across the tables in the tavern than in any business within the city. The reason of course is that its main trade is in information.
